CYTHERA is the ancient Greek name for Kythira, a Mediterranean island closely associated with Aphrodite, Greek goddess of love and beauty. The name evokes the island’s brilliant blue seas and Aphrodite’s rosy, romantic mythology, making it an especially fitting match for this never-before-seen jaw-dropping cerulean blue and magenta pairing.

Adapted from our super-popular “Arendelle” taffeta, this moiré’s shifting surface brings those two vibrant worlds together: the blue Aegean sea and the rosy, mythological aura of Aphrodite. Together, they evoke a unique, exotic sensuality into a highly unique fabric that no one has ever laid eyes on before...

This stunning 100% silk jacquard has a 28.5” repeat and is 54” wide. Flip the fabric over and and you'll find the design's color inverse! So it's actually TWO silks in one!! Designed by and made just for us, so you absolutely cannot find it anywhere else!

*Important: this fabric has some observable slubs when it is oriented sideways. Jacquard uses raw silk because it requires weight and a textured look.
