LOVE!! This color is really gorgeous. A cool toned, borderline neutral soft purple. Back in the day it would be referred to as "dusty" purple. But "dusty" is such a bleh word and it insults this lovely fabric. If you are a costumer and you crave some goth flavor but don't want to disappear in yards of black fabric, Vespers is for you. If you are a bride planning a wedding and hate pastels and aren't interested in jewel tones, Vespers is for you too. This would make a gorgeous Mother of the Bride gown or Victorian bustle dress. Vespers is not a traditional purple or lavender. It is different. Subtle and exciting at the same time. It is a color that will be noticed and admired but doesn't scream "look at me".
