I am working on a silk repair job for an exceptionally old robe that will require some backing but I wanted to be sure it was completely invisible as it is around an armhole tear at the seam and will require stabilizing. I know, not terribly romantic or even remotely exciting as one would hope for such a lovely organza, but this is exactly the kind of high-quality silk material that I knew I could get directly from Silk Baron. Even though I knew I could purchase a large swatch to use, I felt that surely I could find a purpose for the remaining yard in another piece in the (hopefully) near future. Also that way I could see how the fabric looks as a full yard piece. The organza is exceptionally strong, the price per yard is reasonable and I always know I'll be receiving an excellent cut of fabric.
