MIRKWOOD is a vast, dark, and enchanted forest in J.R.R. Tolkien’s legendarium, located east of the Misty Mountains in northern Middle-earth. Once known as Greenwood the Great, it became shadowed and perilous after Sauron, in disguise as the Necromancer, took residence in its southern fortress of Dol Guldur. The forest is home to dangerous creatures like giant spiders and hostile elves, and serves as a haunting, pivotal setting in The Hobbit as Bilbo and the dwarves pass through its ominous depths. This is 2-ply faille, so it is heavier and thicker than standard faille. Looks and feels like corduroy, but it’s 100% silk!!
