This taffeta is not just delicious in it's drape and hand, but the color is entrancing. It shows up under the oranges, but I am using it for its blue quality since I am working on an item that is blue and copper. Using this in different directions will highlight both of its colors.

I was given a piece of this and purchased an additional yard so I have enough to create my version of a 16th century Italian gown. can't wait to sew with this!

Amazing color!!!

I ordered a swatch a while back and I LOVE this color! It is a golden shade with a cross weave of grey/blue. The gold is the dominant color. With every move you make pure magic happens as the grey/blue flashes between the gold. Very aptly named. It is one of those colors that make people do a double take (don't we all LOVE that) to see what the color truly is. I would use this for a 1840s-1860s dress. Cosmos is on my wish list.
Such a fascinating color
