ATHOS is the eldest and most noble of the Musketeers, a man of quiet authority, dignity, and unshakable loyalty. His tragic past lends him an introspective air, yet beneath it he remains a pillar of honor and steadfast friendship. Navy blue symbolizes his depth, discipline, and sense of duty, and light gray signifies the sorrow and restraint that softens his brilliance.

This inviting navy blue-and-warm gray color pairing combines classical floral and feather motifs that were popular during the European Baroque period. The pattern has a 9.75” repeat and is 54” wide. The central flower measures just 3” in diameter. This is a heavier-weight damask, weighing 193 grams per yard - *perfect* for 17th century French court gowns and home decor! And because it’s a jacquard with opposite sides, it’s two silks in one!

5 of 5 Athos Silk Damask October 7, 2025

Oh, I can't express how gorgeous this fabric is.  The pictures just don't it justice.  Absolutely love it.  I'm seeing an historical reproduction of a hand-held parasol, "Louis XV" era ...

Now I'm going to have to get over my hesitation to actually cut the fabric, it's so gorgeous!
