So many shades of gold!

Silkbaron has so many different shades of gold (or gold adjacent) colors I couldn't decide between. Seeing them in-person really made it clear why they have so many! The undertones and duotones!! I definitely feel more confident in my choice of Dupioni colors after holding them in my hands.

This is going to be such a hard choice because everything is beautiful! I ordered creams and whites in duchess silk satin and silk charmeuse. The silk satin is very thick and has some stiff body to it - would be beautiful for a wedding dress. The charmeuse is SLINKY and a tad bit see-thru - def needs a lining unless you're making lingerie. The small swatches are very small - I sort of wish I had splurged on the larger swatches so I could see the drape a bit better, but it wasn't really necessary. I will definitely be ordering full yardage from here - just need to decide on a color!
